WE LOVE BAKING, OUR STORY - Demmy continues the craft

Having grown up with delicious fresh bread at home, often still warm from the oven, it was no great surprise that our father Demmy continued the craft and love of baking and followed his father into the bakery in 1957. Demmy and his brother Declan eventually moved operations to a new facility on the Tramore Road in 1972.

Many successful years followed and the business continued to grow and grow. In 1991, Demmy decided to leave the then FitzGerald’s Bakery to start ‘Country Kitchens Bakery’ with his daughter Suzanne and son Simon. Demmy was later joined by 2 of his sons, Richard and Garry, and his brother Liam FitzPatrick.
